It is made from toasted and stone-ground sunflower seeds, and retains the seeds’ typical intense flavour. Naturally gluten-free, sunflower seeds are characterized by their high content of vitamins, including the rare vitamin B12 which contributes to the formation of red blood cells and the maintenance of the immune system’s normal function. They also contain the fatty acids necessary to lower the levels of “bad” cholesterol.
Ideal to spread on bread and biscuits for a tasty snack or to prepare canapes as an aperitif.
